Hi,
I want to know if there is a list of IoT licenses. Since 1 year ago, the embedded was used as small Windows version, to add 2-3 programs on a defined machine.
Now, IoT is not small but is bigger than the biggest Windows version, so the price, instead to be low is high.
Is there a IoT version/license that will allow me to do this:
- write filter
- I don't want IE, don't need internet, don't need the file explorer, don't need a taskbar, don't need a shell
- Only execute a 32-bit DirectX application on a defined mainboard (with some USB devices)
My question is:
- Do I need to pay 200$? Even if I use only 10% or less of the Windows features? Or are there better versions/licenses now?
